Ronin Judo is a small, friendly judo club in the west end of Toronto. We welcome everyone—young, old, small, or large.
Where we are
Ronin Judo is in unit 103 of 1 Wiltshire St, Toronto. We’re glad (and lucky) to be part of a really nice artists’ community in the west end.

When we practice
- Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00–9:30 p.m.
- Saturdays from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m (shiai and tournament techniques)
- Sundays 4:00–6:00 p.m. (kata/ advanced technique)
- Wednesdays and Fridays, 6:15–8:00 p.m.
- Monday 7:30–9:00 p.m.
- Thursdays 9:00–10:30 p.m.
Don’t be afraid to show up late. We’d just be glad to have you there.
How much it costs
Classes are $20 per class for adults and $10 for kids, with a reduced rate for monthly, yearly, and family memberships. The first class is always free, so come out and give judo or sumo a try.
There is a sliding scale. Ronin Judo and Sumo Club is a community, and dojo members contribute in a variety of non-monetary ways.
Not one person has ever been turned away from the Ronin club for lack of money. If you don’t have the money but you do have the heart, you’re very welcome to come play with us. We’ll figure something out. Usually, Colin picks up the tab. (It’s the only thing the little guy can pick up.)
